LMS6045 DSP is a stand-alone distance-measuring probe that measures with high accuracy and is sutable for high speed processing of boards and planks.Principle of operation is optical triangulation.Measurement information can be transferred to a computer system via different interfaces. As standard the instrument has a serial RS232 interface (Host) and a parallel interface.An analogue interface is available as an option.The measurement range is 4800 mm and the stand-off distance is 850 mm.

The sensor is developed to work in an industry environment, such as the timber industry. The instrument case is sealed according to IP52.
