TSorter is a general thickness and width measurement system. It runs either as a stand-alone measurement system or can easily be integrated with a control system. It is compatible to most mechanical thickness measurement systems.

TSorter is a non-contact measurement system based on laser triangulation. Two laser sensors, equipped with advanced Digital Signal Processors DSP, are connected to the Controller Box. Measurements are synchronized to give correct thickness values at all speeds and measurement conditions, e.g. vibrating boards due to worn conveyors. Automatic exposure control makes accuracy independent of surface reflection and thus give exact measurements on all types of wood material, green or dry. Measuring algorithm Center of gravity filters away possible influence from external light sources.
