The Cup Profiler is an automatic measurement system for boards cross profiler, independent of vibrations and speed from the conveyor, variations in surrounding light and reflections from the wood surface.

The Cup Profiler is equipped with two PreciCura SR of which one is scanning for cup and one compensates for vibrations. The system can also be supplied with a third PreciCura for measuring the thickness of the board.The system is reliable with no mechanical wear.

Typical applications for a Cup Profiler are: in front of a planer or rip saw.

During the years that Cup Profiler has been on the market more than 25 systems has been installed.

By adding a few PreciCura sensors to The Cup Profiler it can also give you information about the deformation, wane and thickness. This information can be useful for e.g. turning, rejecting etc.
