It was held Nov. 14-17 at the Ritz-Carlton in Amelia Island, Florida. The exhibit highlighted LIMAB's Panel Profiler for thickness measuring of plywood and OSB. LIMAB now has 28 systems in North America for these applications; either installed or on order. The meeting was well attended by over 300 industry leaders with most plywood and OSB panel producers represented. The guest keynote speaker was John Sununu, former US senator from New Hampshire who gave an upbeat message about the US economy and how the stimulus programs will impact the housing industry.
